Together we've combined all the things we love about dance competitions in to the one, and we hope you love it too!
At Count Me In we promise to try and meet all your needs and expectations, in return, we just ask you to follow a few simple rules.
Star sections - This section has been made for dancers who have learning difficulties or special needs.
Rising star sections - NOVICE, Hasn’t placed 1st or 2nd in that genre at any other competitions in Adelaide over the last 3 years.
Superstar sections - Elite, Dancers who have placed 1st or 2nd in that genre at any competition in Adelaide over the last 3 years. OR are dancing at an advanced level.
You must be in the superstar solos section to enter our championship. The competitors dance can be any style routine and must be a dance they have not competed with in another section at our competition.
Groups must have 4 or more competitors.
During a tap troupe section ALL dancers must be wearing tap shoes.
All SOLO, DUO, TRIO, CHAMPIONSHIP entries are to be made by competitors, teachers or parents and to be paid in full via Credit/debit card or Paypal. Entries are not accepted without payment.
All TROUPE entries need to be entered by the teacher.
We love to see props used in routines to help create and tell a story however we have a 30 second rule for setting props up and removing them after the routine. Points will be deducted from competitors if you exceed the time limit.
Props are your own responsibility so please make sure after your competitor has danced to remove this prop from stage or side stage. Any props left at the theatre will not be our responsibility.
No glass or items that can be smashed.
No water or any other liquids that may effect the stage floor permitted.
You are responsible for any feathers, gems, beads or any other material left on the stage after your competitor has performed. If you fail to remove, points will be deducted from competitors routine.
We at Count Me In take no responsibility for any accidents/injuries that occur during dances on stage.

Cords provided by the competition
There will be a photographer at our event therefore there is strictly NO PHOTOGRAPHY or VIDEOING of any kind in the theatre.
If this happens your competitors will be disqualified.
No refunds will be given however we ensure your money will be credited to another event if the competition event coordinator cancels the competition for any reason.
If however you can no longer attend the competition there will be strictly no refund or credit given. If in your circumstance you can provide a doctors certificate we will apply a credit for our next event.
We at Count Me In do not tolerate aggressive or disruptive behaviour at any time of our competition being online or at our events. If this does occur you will be asked to remove yourself from our competition and event.
We require all backstage helpers to have their working with children check (WWCC) and will ask to see this before entering our dressing rooms or back stage areas. Unfortunately you'll be unable to go back stage if you can't present this on the day of comps.
Due to limited back stage areas we ask students to only have 1 teacher or assistant side stage with them.
Please remember to keep the dressing room areas as clean and tidy as possible and no loitering.
Our program will be available online or to purchase on the day of the event.
Once the program is final there will be no moving around or adding more items.
You must check your students or child in at least 1 hour before scheduled to dance. This helps our competition run smoothly in case we are running ahead of time.
Troupes must be checked in 1 hour before the session starts.
On check in you must provide a copy of your birth certificate to staff. Students may be disqualified if entered into a lower age group. However if we do have room to move your child into the correct age group on the day we will do so.
