Emmalee has been dancing for 27 years and has developed a strong passion for all areas of the dance industry. Alongside her own training across multiple dance genres, she has spent many years involved in teaching, choreography, performance and competition environments, giving her extensive experience both on and off the stage.
Emmalee is the co-owner and organiser of the Count Me In Dance Competition alongside Katie, where she plays a major role in the planning, organisation and running of dance competitions across South Australia. She is passionate about creating positive, professional and supportive competition experiences that give dancers the opportunity to perform, grow in confidence and celebrate their love of dance. Emmalee prides herself on creating an encouraging atmosphere for dancers, teachers and families, while ensuring competitions are well organised, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone involved.
In addition to her work with Count Me In, Emmalee has also owned and operated her own Adelaide dance studio for the past 12 years. Through her studio, she has continued to share her passion for dance by providing enjoyable and supportive dance tuition for students of all ages in a safe and friendly environment.

Katie has a strong background in gymnastics and trampolining, which she trained and competed in for 12 years before moving into the dance industry. For the past 11 years, she has specialised as an Acro teacher, sharing her knowledge, skills and passion with students of all ages. Her experience in both gymnastics and dance has helped her develop a strong focus on technique, strength, flexibility and safe skill progression within her classes.
Katie is also the co-owner and organiser of the Count Me In Dance Competition alongside Emmalee, where she plays a key role in creating supportive, professional and enjoyable competition experiences for dancers and families across South Australia. She is passionate about fostering a positive environment that encourages dancers to build confidence, perform at their best and develop a lifelong love of dance and performance.
Her passion for teaching continues to grow every year and has naturally been passed down to her two daughters, who share her love of dance and performing arts.
